Would I be able to get an online job?
Was wondering if I would be able to get a job online, part time as I’m in 6th year at school. There are no jobs where I live and I need a way to pay for my car! Very interested in computing etc and doing lots of courses on the subject but was wondering if i would be considered? Would be good experience too as I’m planning on going on to university to study Computing Science. Thanks for any answers!
I’ve been doing some work with www.elance.com the past week, all the work is home based, data entry, transcription etc. The only thing is you’re competing against people from countries where the hourly rate of pay is a lot lower, so not sure if it would be worth it for you.
Also have a look at the jobs listed here, most are applicable to us,canada, europe, its quite good, thats where I found the above link.

Its been updated today to include some Craft type jobs which can be done from home, mainly re-distribution, but it possible to make good money from it if you work hard.
So many online jobs are out there. In fact, to do any online job, you need not want to invest anything. Make sure, you dont pay anything to get jobs online. It is just that need to pick the one that suits you the best. I hope this helps you and I believe you will find the online job that you love the most. Thanks

The short answer to your question is No!
When you ask a question like this there are only two basic kinds of answers you are going to get:
1. Responses (like this one) telling you that you are going to get a bunch of spam about scams.
2. Spam. (Some of the spammers may give me a thumbs down but that’s OK with me. They are still spam. I have influence in the community; they don’t.)

It is unlikely any company would hire you to work from home.
However you could try setting up a small business doing websites for local businesses or (if you can type) typing up projects. Other things you could do include looking at getafreelancer.com or elance.com to see if there are any freelance projects on, as these will let you work from home. However you will be competing with overseas coders who charge a lower rate and probably have more experience.
