Be careful of getting into a career based on the salary alone. Even $30,000 a year is worth if if you enjoy your work and spend money wisely.

There are many people who make large salaries but blow it all on fat mortgages, new cars, and other crap they don’t need. Then they end up in debt and having the buying power of someone making half their wage. If you save, spend, and invest wisely, you can live comfortably and retire on time even if you don’t make very much. On the other hand if you hate your job but are in it for the money, you’ll age a lot faster.
