Absolutely! The SR-22 is a certificate telling the DMV that you HAVE liability insurance, so you must have it somewhere; the company wouldn’t issue an SR if you didn’t! The SR should tell the company name, policy number and beginning and ending dates, and if your policy cancels or lapses, the SR does, too.
