Do headhunters for executive positions, prefer walk-ins to their office?

with 3 comments

I’m looking for a job and I know when people see me I garner more attention from people because I’m presentable so I would like to just grab my resume and walk-in to these places but not sure if they will accept that.

No, you need to call up and make an appointment to meet with someone.

  1. NO! Only go if you are invited otherwise you will never hear from them again. Try calling them and if you have good verbal skills they will invite you in to meet them.

  3. You definitely shouldn’t just show up unannounced. Some people feel that if you’re applying for a specific position and know the location of the office that it’s a good idea to hand-deliver your resume, but I’ve seen that hurt a candidate as much as help.
