I am a college senior looking to get into the marketing field. I would like to work in NYC and the entertainment industry really interests me. Does anyone have any advice on some companies in nyc that are more likely to hire (even if it is a paid internship)? Or other places to search for jobs?
Also, the fashion industry slightly interests me and I had a pr internship in this field so that could work too! Thanks!
Job seeking can be a difficult job in itself, especially if you’re not used to it. I was struggling with my job seeking recently until I stumbled upon the site in the box below site which has some superb tips for job seekers. After taking their advice for a couple of weeks I secured myself a superb job.
Network marketing has been creating wealth for people for over half a century. Hundreds or even thousands of network marketing companies have come and gone over the years. There are many different compensation plans and an infinite amount of products and services sold through networking. And yet the basic premise of networking has remained unchanged since the industry began with Amway. And that premise is that to be successful, you need to talk to hundreds of people each and every week and convince them to buy your product or service and go into business with you. You need to talk to hundreds of people to get a few to say yes. In a nutshell, networking has always been an industry of salesmen. But all that can change with the right Attraction Marketing System.
While it is true that more millionaires are created in the network marketing industry than any other, it is also true that a majority of those who try networking never make any money. The ones that do make money seldom make enough to quit their jobs and only a very small percentage make a good living or get wealthy.
It takes a thick skin to handle the amount of disappointment and rejection networkers experience as they talk to person after person about their product and opportunity only to have the prospect say no. People coming into networking are told to talk to their friends and family and/or to buy leads or run ads and call these prospects cold and try to sell them on the product or opportunity. There are statistics that state that about 80% of people that join a networking company are never properly trained on how to sell. No wonder they fail. And this has been the model for networking for decades. Only those skilled at handling objections and self disciplined enough to keep trying have been able to make significant money. Most people never earn enough to cover their entry costs and they quit disillusioned about the industry as a whole.
With the proliferation of the home computer and the internet, network marketing is on the verge of a major paradigm shift on how to grow a successful home based business. There is a new model for selling your products, services or opportunity. It is called Attraction Marketing. When you learn to use the tools available online, you will never have to cold call again. And because the systems are automated, more people can be successful and provide the same tools for those they recruit to use.
So, just what is Attraction Marketing and how does it work? Attraction Marketing is a totally new approach to sales built upon the premise that people don’t like to be sold anything but they do like to buy things. The National Do Not Call List was created by Congress simply because so many Americans complained about marketers calling their homes trying to sell them something.
Attraction Marketing takes a different approach entirely. Instead of “selling” your prospect, you create information that the type of prospect you are looking for would search for online. You learn how to drive traffic to this information and the prospect has the opportunity to fill in a capture page to request more information. Now the prospect has given you permission to contact them. You learn how to use an auto responder to communicate to the prospect, giving more information each time until they are ready to buy. In a nut shell, you create an automated system to “attract” people who need your product, service or opportunity to you. You don’t talk to them until they are ready to buy.
If you aren’t familiar with Attraction Marketing it is because this is a fairly new approach to networking. It has proven to be a less expensive and certainly a less stressful way to build a network marketing business. You will be hearing more about it. So, if your business is not as profitable as you would like it to be or if you are new to networking, save time and money by implementing Attraction Marketing for your business and see your income grow as you work with people who found you and want to duplicate what you do to earn money.

I want to work in a corporate setting with a group/team. Does anyone know of any job titles that would cover these qualifications and use a marketing degree?
I’m actually not job searching. I’m a student trying to figure out what to major in. I was thinking about marketing and was wondering what types of jobs there are in the field.
Job seeking can be a tricky job in itself, especially if you’re not used to it. I was making heavy weather of with my job seeking in recent times until I uncovered the site in the box below resource which has some fantastic guidance for job hunters. After using their methods for a couple of weeks I got myself myself a fantastic job.
