Go to Craigslist.org
Look for the state &/or city you’re in on the right hand side
Then a new page will show with only Craigslist listings in your area,
Then you’ll see a list of jobs & you can go from there!

I need to find a local trucking job in the montana area, but every time I look for a local job. I always get long and local distance mixed in together.

I don’t know of any sites that separate them from local and OTR.

Try to get an internship at a local newspaper. You might get boring assignments, but it will give you good experience.

You can go from store to store, and ask for the application form, fill it out and hand it in.

In our city of over 200,000 people, we had 3 JOBS wanted yesterday. WOW! It was shocking! How many jobs available in your city? How big is your population?
DC is the only ones hiring- govt jobs! If we outside of DC don’t have jobs-Govt wont get PAID!

None. But we are having two garage sales, on huge sale and two barn sales. Our weekly newspaper covers town 2 small towns. Maybe 16,000 people.

I’ve tried many websites and they all seem like scams, tricks, and they are just to good to be true. I want a website that can show me real listings of local jobs and not some list of random fantasy job.

I have the best luck with Yahoo/ Hotjobs, Careerbuilder.com, and Monster.com. Sometimes your local newspaper has an online site that offers classifieds….

with Hotjobs, Careerbilder and Monster, they all let you post a resume online and return results you based on the criteria that YOU choose….in addition to your online searching.
