Be careful as that name is used in fake job scams. If you’ve been offered a job over the internet without at least 2 in-person interviews at the actual hotel, the job does not exist. NO company in the UK will ever hire anyone they have not met and interviewed in person.

I’ve only ever done application forms

You need to send them your c.v ( much the same info as you’ve put on application forms. basic details,qualifications, previous jobs, two of which can be contacted for references, most people also put a bit about themselves hobbies etc) Then send with it a formal letter stating which job you want to be considered for. If you need any help with this your local citizens advice bureau will usually help or job-centre. Good luck with getting the job.

I applied for a job on the 15th March, they replied with an email on the 16th thanking me for my application. (the closing date was 26th March) I haven’t heard anything since, should i email them for an update or just leave it?????

Leave it. They will come back to you when they are ready. If you haven’t heard back in a month then I would e-mail them. Until then I would let them sort through the applicants.

There is no company by the name "Job Vacancy Abroad" registered with Companies House, the UK government registrar of all legal businesses operating in the UK. So either they are registered under another name or they are scamming you. If they are asking you for money for visa processing, police certificates, etc then you are definitely being scammed
