Look at the websites of your local newspaper. And don’t just rely on the web - get out in your area and look, and apply to local places, especially any with help wanted signs out.

I’m not sure if the 2009 data is out yet. The bls lists PTs as holding 185,500 jobs. For OTs it was 104,500. This is a statement of how many jobs were held, not how many were "open"

Try look at the City and County job openings. They are supposed to have job openings for students in the summer. Otherwise, maybe try retail or food industry. There is a lot of places you could look. If you can travel to Mililani, they have a lot more places you could apply as well. The movies are supposed to hire a lot of younger people, try the Mililani Town Center movie theaters. In a lot of the food industry places, you don’t need to be 18. Just make sure you get your work permit. You can apply online for one. Good luck!

The Computer and IT engineers do some courses on Java or .NET and get into the IT industry. Similarly what courses or certifications are there that assures to get a job, can an electronics & telecommunication engineer do ?
