The human resources manager wants a program that calculates the result if she gives an employee a raise in salary. The output is the projected salary with the raise. The input is the current salary and the percentage increase expressed as a decimal (for example, 0.04 for a 4 percent raise). Design the interactive screen, then draw a flowchart for a program that accepts the input and produces the report.
You only need to look at the question to formulate the answer. Skip the interactive screen for now because that is only a 5-minute art activity. Look at what is being asked by examining the verbs and the subjects in the sentence.
Who or what will do these Actions? Human resource personnel, computer
What will they do? Input data to raise the salaries of people in the company by 4%
What will then happen? Computer will accept the data, then change the current data by 0.04
What will be the last part? Computer will produce a report showing the increases.
You have your answer by looking at the question.
Hello, i would like to know if in a university in Australia i would be allowed to do a master in human resources even though my bachelor degree is in general psychology. I worked in human resources but do not have a diploma of business or commerce, what do you guys think?
I will admit first that I’m an American. However, when I was doing research on human resources as a career, one of the things mentioned was that many human resources professionals have degrees in psychology. You may want to check with your local universities, but in the U.S. you could do a master’s in HR with the psych bachelors.
I went for an interview at the hospital two weeks ago and they said human resources would call and let me know if I got the job or not and talk about pay and stuff like that. The waiting game is pissen me off. I was wondering if anyone had done this before?
They say that they will call you but they don’t always. If they’re decent, they will let you know even if you don’t get the job. If they’re like most of the "I don’t give a sh*t companies" nowadays, they won’t bother to call you back at all. If it’s been two weeks, it most likely means you didn’t get the job UNLESS they have a large applicant pool and haven’t sifted through all the candidates and their paperwork.
What specific skill does a person need to have to be in human resources?
How many years of college?
Average Salary?
Specific skills(ex.listening, organization, hardworking)?
What type of things does human resources do?
Would it help to be strong in math, science, social studies, or languge arts?
They do hiring, payroll and benefits. It depends on the company hiring as to what they want - someone with a four year degree or you could get your foot in the door and work your way up. The pay depends on the company. You’d better have patience and attention to detail.
