I am interested in becoming a feature film producer, and I am somewhat confused as to what type of jobs I should be looking for coming out of college. I know production is a very broad field, but I’m assuming there are certain job titles more than other that lend themselves to becoming an actual producer down the road.

You could try and get an internship at a production company - I had one in college. When the assistant (read: secretary) got promoted to creative executive, she hired a (former- all the current interns were only there for the semester) intern as the new assistant/secretary.

Working your way up helps you get the contacts you need to be a producer. But I will pass on what one of my film school teachers taught me: all you need to "be a producer" is business cards that say you’re a producer. And those contacts I mentioned a moment ago.
